Logistic Centre May Be Created near Yakutsk

The Government of the Republic of Yakutia (Sakha) plans to build a logistic centre near Yakutsk, Egor Borisov, the Republic’s Head, has said at the conference “Roads of Russia in XXI Century”. The conference is held in the capital of Yakutia. “Today, we have a unique opportunity to connect three federal motorways, the railway, river transport and aviation. If we solve the issue of a bridge over the Lena river construction, we’ll cope with this task (construction of a logistic centre near Yakutsk),” Mr Borisov said.
He added, that the regional authorities' further plans envisage creation of a transport corridor from the Republic to the Northern Sea Route, reports Interfax.
