Aeroflot to fly to Panama

Russian first-rate air carrier of Aeroflot expands geography of its trans-Atlantic flights and opens a new regular service Moscow - Panama.

Panama President Ricardo Martinelli has announced it in an interview to RT TV channel.

The regular flight Moscow - Panama existed earlier and it was carried out by Aeroflot as well. According to Martinelli, Panama is interested in everything which happens on the post-soviet spaces, because businessmen from Russia and former Soviet states invest money in some Panama projects. Regular flight connection is one of first-order conditions for advance the international relations.

The date of the first flight was not announced. Currently, Aeroflot makes regular flights to USA, Cuba and Canada. Other countries are availiable by connecting flights and other air carriers. By the way, Panama can be a very popular travel destination.
