Sochi bypass road eyes $126m reconstruction

A total of $126m is to be spent on reconstruction of a bypass road around Sochi, Krasnodar region, Interfax reports.

Total road length is about 8 kilometers, with 3 kilometers to be strengthened by supporting walls, the news agency said.

Russian Railways and VEB to conduct due diligence on railway station reconstruction projects at Sochi hub

Russian Railways - Railway Station Development, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian Railways, and the state corporation The Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank - VEB) have agreed to conduct comprehensive due diligence on projects to reconstruct Sochi, Loo, Khosty, Lazarevsky and Tuapse railways stations. The contract includes arranging financing for the work related to conducting the due diligence. The signing took place at the X International Investment Forum Sochi-2011.
