Tula region to spend $298m on roads in 2011-2015

A total of $298m is to be spent on roads repairs and maintenance in Tula region in 2011-2015, regional officials report.

Of the total funding, $285m is reportedly to be allocated from the regional budget, and $13m is to be assigned from the federal budget.

Under plans, the funds are to be spent on construction and reconstruction of regional and inter-municipal roads, road bridges, transport junctions, as well as purchase of road building machinery.
