St. Petersburg Gov. Valentina Matvienko says local shipyards boost its Jan-Apr volume by 2.7 times

In January-April the shipyards in St. Petersburg increased its volume of work by 2.7 times, the Russ.Govt press service reports quoting St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matvienko’s statement during her working meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

"I want to say that in all spheres of economy we are emerging from the recession. Following the four-month results the index of industrial production was 104.7 percent. This is a very good growth. By the volume of shipped products of our own production, a 128.3-percent rise. Car production increased by 3.2 times", the press service quoted Valentina Matvienko as saying.
