TransContainer: decline in net profit

The net profit of TransContainer according to Russian Accounting Standards dropped by 99.2% to RUR22.101 million in 2009.

“The reason for the decline in the net profit volume is unfavourable situation on the container transportation market caused by the global economic recession, and consequently, the decrease in container transportation volume in the RF,” runs the company’s press-release.
