Second Varna - Kavkaz railway ferry to be put into operation in August

The second railway ferry will begin its work on the line Varna (Bulgaria) – Kavkaz (Russia) in August 2010, said Alexander Davydenko, Head of Rosmorrechflot (the RF Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport).“The railway ferry with the capacity of 50 railcars will transport different cargoes without calling at the Ukrainian ports,” specified Mr Davydenko.
The ferry was ordered by Anship shipping company.
There are also plans to develop car, railway and passenger ferry communication with the ports of Turkey and Romania, reports Interfax.
