RF Transport Ministry forecasts 14-15% growth in air transportation in 2010

Russian Transport Ministry forecasts that in 2010 air transportation will increase by 14-15% year-on-year, said Valery Okulov, Deputy Transport Minister.

In his words, the growth may amount 3-4% comparing with the results of 2008.

In 2008, passenger air transportation in the RF grew by 11% year-on-year and amounted to 50.1 million people. In 2009, this figure dropped by 9.4% to 45.1 million people.
