Weather causes havoc in Russian south

Late frosts and freezing rain have caused havoc in the Stavropol region in the south of Russia. Slippery roads and gusty winds are causing road accidents.Slippery roads and gusty winds are causing road accidents. Traffic has been interrupted on major federal roads ‘Caucasus’, ‘Astrakhan-Stavropol’, ‘Rostov-Stavropol’. Thirty villages are without electricity. Repair work is underway.
