At an extraordinary meeting on September 30, TNK-BP shareholders decided to approve a dividend payout of RUB 2.94 (approx. USD 0.11) per common or preferred share for the first half of 2008, RBC reports.

LDz: Profit May Fall

This year the profit of Latvijas dzelzcels (LDz, Latvian railway) will not be so high as in 2007, when it amounted to $52.4 million (28.3 million lats) and the turnover was $485 million (262 million lats).
