AirUnion May Merge with Atlant-Soyuz

The airlines comprising AirUnion may merge with the Atlant-Soyuz, the official carrier of the Moscow government.The new company may take over the fleet of aircraft and the network of AirUnion routes, the sources aid, reports Itar-Tass.
AirUnion brings together Krasnoyarsk Airlines, Domodedovo Airlines, OmskAvia, Samara Airline and SibAviaTrans.
At present, AirUnion is having problems because of the outstanding fuel debts which exceeds one billion dollars.
AirUnion fleet of aircraft includes Tu-154M, Il-86, Boeing-737-300 and Embraer-120. Its base airport is Vnukovo.
