Gazprom to Halt Gas Supplies via Yamal-Europe Pipeline

Gazprom will stop natural gas transit via the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline from 4 p.m. on September 2 until 10 p.m. on September 3, due to repair works on the territory of Poland and Germany, RBC reports.

Gas supplies will amount to 50m cubic meters from 10 p.m. on September 3 until 10 p.m. on September 4. Once the repair works have been completed at 10 p.m. on September 4, gas will be transported in full in accordance with orders received from Polish and German consumers. The fall in gas supplies to European consumers is to be offset by increasing gas transit via alternative routes, the statement reads.
