Bombardier to supply Bursa with light rail vehicles

According to Railway Gazette, Bombardier Transportation will supply 30 Flexity Swift high-floor light rail cars to Turkish Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. The ammount of the order is EUR 94 m.

The contract was announced today and includes also the supply of spare parts. Bombardier said, that an order for even 28 additional railway cars is possible.

The bidirectional air-conditioned vehicles will be manufactured in Germany. Deliveries will start from the second half of 2010, Railway Gazette reports.
