AXTONE S.A, the major supplier of bumpers for freight and passenger railway cars, locomotives and urban transport vehicles, continues, together with a consortium TENS Sp. z o.o., realisation of a contract for PKP PLK, based in Poznań.

The contract regards the development of 8 tracks with the System of Automatic Regulation Sets' of Shunting Waggons Speed (SARPO) on the station Poznań Franowo. The investment should finish in November 2008.

SARPO is very resistant to changes of atmospheric conditions. Moreover, due to the speed regulation it provides a high level of safety for the rolling stock, as well as transported goods.

"We are glad that our partners invest in modernity and safety. Continuing of the cooperation with PKP PLK is a great recommendation of our products", said Marcin Kowalczyk, president of the management board in AXTONE Group, Railway Market- CEE Review reports.
