KAMAZ Launched the New Line Iran

KAMAZ launched the second line for the assembling of the trucks at the JV set up with Rakhsh Khodro Diesel Co. in Iran.

In 2008 900 component sets were shipped to Iran; 250 cars being assembled.

Now KAMAZ-5460, -6460,-6520 are delivered. The launching of the new production in Iran on the basis of Rakhsh Khodro Diesel was provided in May 2007. The output is assumed to reach 500 trucks/y.

The licensing agreement was signed in 2005. At 2007 start the Iran-based company get the certificate on the assembling of 3ths trucks a year, reports AK&M.
