Four Passenger Carriages Derail in Amur Region

Four passenger carriages derailed en route Khabarovsk-Neryungri on Tuesday, the press service of the Far-Eastern emergencies ministry reports according to Itar-Tass.

“According to preliminary estimates, no victims have been reported,” the source said.

The passenger train ran from Khabarovsk to Neryungri, Yakutia, and derailed near the village of Magdagachi at 08:15 Moscow time.

Fire-fighting and rescue teams arrived to the derailment site.

The reasons of the incident are being studied.
