Two Trains Collide in Belgium

A commuter train has collided with a freight train in southeast Belgium, injuring 30 passengers.The accident occurred Thursday during the morning commute on a rail-line near the city of Liege. Officials say six of the injured were taken to the hospital, Associated Press reports.
Frederic Petit of Infrabel, the company responsible for railway maintenance, told VRT radio that most of the injuries were slight.
He said the commuter train, which carried 50 people on board, was heading to Liege from the nearby city of Namur. Investigators are investigating the cause of the crash.
