KAMAZ Shareholders Decide on Dividend for 2007

At an annual general meeting today, KAMAZ shareholders decided to pay no dividend for 2007.

KAMAZ also did not pay a dividend for 2006. The annual meeting of shareholders considered all the items on the agenda and issued corresponding decisions. In line with the proposals of the Board of Directors, it has been decided to distribute part of the net profit, equaling RUB 4.82bn (approx. USD 204m) as follows: to allocate five percent of the sum to form a reserve fund, use 29 percent for paying off previous years' debts, and 66 percent for financing the company's investment program. KAMAZ's net profit amounted to RUB 5.491bn (approx. USD 233m) in 2007, reports RBC.
