Putin to Approve Development Programme of Transport System

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that he would sign a decision on Tuesday on adopting a federal programme for developing the Russian transport system for 2010-2015.

“I mean the most ambitious of all investment programmes, ever adopted by the Russian government,” Putin stated. “The volume of its funding will top 13,000 billion roubles, including 4,700 billion from the federal budget,” he explained, Itar-Tass reports.
