KAMAZ Will Buy the Airport

Kamaz will buy the Begishevo Airport included into Tatarstan Aviation Company, the Tatarstan government informed according to AK&M.

The provision of the control over the Airport by the consortium of the interested companies will be considered by KAMAZ later.

The Airport has the international status; the 2007-passenger turnover reached 149.8ths persons.

In 2003 the consortium involving Tatneft, Tatenergo, Kamdorstroi, Tatarstan Aviation Company, KAMAZ, Nizhnekamskneftekhim built Begishevo Company for the reconstruction of the Airport which demanded 212mln rub. of investments.

The first stage of reconstruction is assumed to require 250mln rub.; 500mln rub. can be released out of the federal budget.
