Domodedovo to Build New Terminal

East Line Group, the Domodedovo International Airport's management company, is planning to launch a new phase of the airport's development and start the construction of the second passenger terminal (Terminal-2) in early 2009, the airport's press office reported today according to RBC.

The project cost has been estimated at RUB 10bn (approx. USD 424.8m), to be financed from East Line Group's own assets. Following the completion of the project scheduled for 2019, the terminal's total area is expected to reach 270,000 square meters, while its annual capacity is projected to amount to 14m - 15m passengers.
